Library Media Center

Welcome to the Library of Lanier Jr Sr High

I’m excited to work with you this school year as your Media Specialist. Please review the following procedures to help us keep the Media Center running smoothly:

• Sign in and out at the circulation desk when entering or leaving.

• Do not remove items from or go behind the circulation desk.

• Use the Library Collaboration Form to schedule the media center or labs (Plato Lab & Room 200) at least 48 hours in advance—first come, first served.

• Request resource materials (books, references, etc.) 48 hours ahead of time.

• All books and videos must be checked out through the Media Specialist.

• Only the librarian operates the laminator. Remove staples/paper clips before submitting items.

• Submit items for lamination by Monday at 3:45 PM; they’ll be returned the next day.

• Meetings in the Media Center must be scheduled in advance.

• Students must have a pass to enter the Media Center.
